She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie McDaniel and Orpha McDaniel (Roberts); her husband Randall Parsons; and her daughter Miranda Parsons. She is survived by: her son Mitch.

In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
