It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bea Putnam of Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on July 15, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Sommerer and Theresa Ehrhardt Sommerer; her husband Fred Putnam; and her siblings, Felix Sommerer, Mahlon Sommerer, Ehrhardt "Bud" Sommerer, Lillian Kueggle and Elizabeth Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Lock of Liberty and William Putnam of Camdenton; her siblings, Margie Beck, Vernon Sommerer, Cleo Howard, Lolly Sommerer, Naomi Vetter and Lloyd Sommerer; her grandchildren, Dr. Merideth Nitzel (Scott), Heather Wheeler, Matthew Putnam, Heidi Sullivan and Aaron Lock; and her close friend Jane Putnam. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
