She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Sommerer and Theresa Ehrhardt Sommerer; her husband Fred Putnam; and her siblings, Felix Sommerer, Mahlon Sommerer, Ehrhardt "Bud" Sommerer, Lillian Kueggle and Elizabeth Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Lock of Liberty and William Putnam of Camdenton; her siblings, Margie Beck, Vernon Sommerer, Cleo Howard, Lolly Sommerer, Naomi Vetter and Lloyd Sommerer; her grandchildren, Dr. Merideth Nitzel (Scott), Heather Wheeler, Matthew Putnam, Heidi Sullivan and Aaron Lock; and her close friend Jane Putnam. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
