He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alphonse Grassl and Janie Grassl (Hyatt); his wife Connie Grassl (Shepherd); his children, Lynne Weber Schwartz (Keith), Elizabeth Grassl-White (Alan), Amy, Valle (Chris), Pamela McCarthy and Patricia McCarthy; his grandchildren, Emily McCarthy, Michael Hagar and Hope Rasmussen (Geoff); his great grandchild Scarlett Rose Rasmussen; and his brother Charles Grassl.
