He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Howard and Mable Mildred Gibler (Surface); his sons, Darrell Ray Gibler and Donald DeWayne Gibler; and his siblings, Joann Nichols, Leslie Gibler and Howard Gibler.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rebecca "Becky" Coleman; his daughters-in-law, Nancy Gibler of Jefferson City and Donna Bisges of Jefferson City; his granddaughter Alexandra Hutson (Anthony) of Jefferson City; and his sisters, Virginia Row of Boise and Darlene Weaver (Charlie) of Jefferson City.
