Hood of Jasper, Missouri, born in Stotts City, Missouri, who passed away on April 3, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Alva and Hazel Ida Hood (Sanders); his wife Evelyn Earlene Threadgill; his brothers, Floyd and Dale Hood; and his stepson Larry Cawyer.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Ed Cawyer (Vickie) of Oronogo, Nancy Neil of Northwest Arkansas, Wiley Cawyer (Thelma) of Liberal, Lavetta Phillips (Rodney) of Shell Knob, Debby Driskill (Mickey) of Moore and Sandy Walker (Charlie) of Lynn Haven, Florida; and his brother Wayne Hood of Carthage, Missouri. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Providence Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
