He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Blakeley and Vivian Mayo Blakeley (Bea); his brother Virgil Lee; his daughter Tonya LaDawn Largent; his granddaughter Miranda Lynne Largent; and his friend James Clower.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Baker Blakeley; his children, Saundra Curteman (Ron Curteman), Jeff Blakeley (Lynette McCallister), Jacob Blakeley, Jamey Blakeley (Sky Blakeley) and Mikala Mustain; his grandchildren, Philip Gaston, Alfred Curteman, Andy O'Dell, Brandon Beam (Karrie Beam), Cara Eickhoff (Eric Eickhoff), Hunter Largent, Lehton Largent, Archer Blakeley, Oakleigh Blakeley and MaKenzie Blakeley; and his great grandchildren, Jimmy Keene III, Addison Girth, Jack O'Dell and Lucy O'Dell.
