He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Beury Simons and John Farr Simons of Philadelphia; his brothers, John Farr Simons, Jr., Charles Beury Simons and Robert Lawton Simons; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Spaeth Simons.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Stevens Simons; and his sister-in-law Joan Perkins Starnes. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
