With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Loretta (Paxton) Curtis of Jamestown, Missouri, who passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Paxton and Hazel Neal (Matthews); and her son James Barnhart. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Larsen of Shawnee Mission, KS, Joyce Dugger of Kansas City, KS, Cheryl Smith of Jamestown, MO, Donna Skinner of Lake Ozark, MO, Jeannie Cook of Barnett, MO and Susan Bruns of Louisville, KS. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
