He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Smith and Ilah Smith (Walker); and his stepfather Jack Harris. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Henderson; his sons, Darby Smith (Holly) of Kearney, MO and Evan Smith (Star) of Jamesport, MO; and his siblings, Majiel Ureich of St. Charles, MO, Patricia Cunningham (Ron) of Raymore, MO, Max Smith (Kathy) of Chillicothe, MO, Tina Leon (Nestor) of Pleasant Valley, MO and Gaylene Smith (Kevin) of Kansas City. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jamesport Baptist Church (201 Vine St, Jamesport, MO 64648). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Jamesport Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
