He was predeceased by: his parents, Macy Joe and Marjory Evelyn Wheeler (Critten); his wife Catherine; and his sons, Steven and Joseph Wheeler.
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Wheeler of Normal, IL and Robert Wheeler; and his siblings, Larry Wheeler (Leota) of Jamesport, MO and Judy Needham (Tom) of Buffalo, IA. He is also survived by five grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
