He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Alvis and Grace Mae Pliley (Dixon); his wife Phyllis Girdner; his daughter Melinda Beth Pliley; and his siblings, Dixie Pence and Jack Lynn Pliley.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Levy (Robert) of Carlisle, PA and Bart Pliley (Brenda) of Jamesport, MO; and his niece Candy Barth of Weatherby Lake, MO.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
