With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Iris Ilene (Dockery) Boyle of Jamesport, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Iris Ilene left this world on March 27, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Washington Dockery and Alta Mae (Watts); her husband Harry Elwood Boyle; her siblings, Floyd Dockery, Mayland Dockery and Alma Averill; her great grandchild Corbin Walter; her nephew Mark Dockery; and her nieces, Sarah Baker and Teresa Dockery.
She is survived by: her sons, Harry Boyle of Trenton, MO, Stephen Boyle (Emily) of Trenton, MO and Gary Boyle (Marie) of Trenton, MO. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home & Crematory (503 Broadway St, Jamesport, MO 64648). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Shelburne Baptist Church (787 SW State Hwy W, Trenton, MO 64683).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Shelburne Cemetery or Jamesport First Responders in care of the funeral home.
