He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Clawson and Odessa Clawson (Tolman); and his former wife Teresa Alfaro. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kinghorn; his children, Dennis Orin Clawson, Jr. (Jaime Lynn) of Greenville, Ohio, Odessa Gordon (David) of Globe, AZ, Kenneth Clawson (Angela) of Huntington Beach, CA, Deb Winfrey (Andy) of Winston Salem, NC, Michael Clawson of Vineyard, UT, Orin Bruce Clawson of Tempe, AZ, Esther Wingo (Kyle) of Springfield, Virginia, Catherine Wright (Taylor) of Brigham City, UT and Elizabeth Clawson of Brigham City, UT; and his siblings, Erminie West of Lovell, WY, Virginia Sedgewick of Kamiah, ID and Daniel Bruce Clawson (Sheri). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Mission or Humanitarian Fund in care of the funeral home.
