William Joe Unger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Joe Unger of Jackson, Missouri, who passed away on February 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert; his wife Janice Unger; and his siblings, Nancy Hale and Jerry Unger. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Unger (Becky) of Jackson, Michael Unger (Monica Kaye) of Kansas City and Matthew Unger (Sunday) of Stover, Missouri; his grandchildren, Benjamin Unger (Leticia), Anne Marie Unger, Grace Unger and Maggie Unger; his siblings, Jim Unger, Judy Fadler (Charles), Angie Delk (Mel), Karen Meinz (Delbert) and Sue Beck; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Becker (Gary) and Judy Voepel.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (223 W Adams St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Russell Heights Cemetery (435 S Farmington Rd, Jackson, MO 63755).
The family suggests that contributions be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
