We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 76, Wayne T. Godwin of Jackson, Missouri, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Wayne T. Godwin to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnell F. Godwin and Helen I. Niswonger Godwin. He is survived by: his wife Jeane of Jackson; his children, Marc Godwin (Lisa) of Sikeston and Crystal Friedrich (Brent) of Jackson; his stepsons, Tony Bendel (Denise) of Jackson and David Bendel of Japan; and his sister Gaitha Athans (Steve) of Columbia, Missouri. He is also survived by four grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Disabled American Veterans organization.
