She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Mary Dell Dickerson Penrod; and also, Leonard and Alene Koenig. She is survived by: her husband Terry Koenig; her children, Terry and Jessica Simmons (Chris) of Jackson; her grandchildren, Tristen Koenig (Kaitlin) of Jackson, Jacob Simmons, Luke Simmons, Jonathon Tyler and Jada Tyler; her siblings, Terry Penrod (Mary) of Monroe City and Jan Allen of Jackson; and her brother-in-law Larry Koenig (Tammie) of Jackson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Southeast Hospice or the Missouri Veterans Home of Cape Girardeau.
