He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit G. Nations and Ruth Smith Nations; his brother Kermit Nations, Jr.; and also, Christopher Haertling and Glenn Haertling.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Nations; his sister Cheryl Reinagel (Don) of Kelso; his siblings-in-law, Connie Peiffer (Dan) of Jackson, Bonnie Schulte (Bob) of Troy, Amy Haertling (late Christopher) of New Wells and Stanley Haertling (Chris) of New Wells; and his nieces and nephews, Erin Fluegge (Madeline) of Sarah Geringer, R. J., Megan Moore (Matt), Amanda Peiffer, Blake Peiffer, Anna Haertling-Clearman, Brett Haertling (Jamie), Allison Haertling and Jackson Haertling.
