Terry Wayne Pourney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Terry Wayne Pourney of Jackson, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Terry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Terry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd L. Pourney and Mildred Myers Pourney; and his former wife Sherri Spooler Pourney. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Pourney of St. Louis and Jarad Pourney (Sarah); his grandchildren, Madelyn and Mitchell of Jackson; his brother LeRoy Pourney (Dawn) of Jackson; his nephew Matt Pourney (Christy); his niece Leslie Scherer (Anthony) of Jackson; and also Arlo of Columbia, Missouri.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Elks Lodge - Jackson (542 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A reception will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
