He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Harry" Rhodes and Elma "Lucille" Proffer Rhodes; his sister Judith Ann Rhodes; his nephew Michael Todd Huffman; and also Richard Hildebrand (Marjorie).
He is survived by: his wife Laurel Hildebrand of Jackson; his children, Eric Rhodes (Kelly Jordan) and Sarah Sander (Bryan) of Jackson; his granddaughters, Sydney Southard (Dawson), Addilynn Sander, Lillian and Isabella Rhodes; and his sister Wilma Huffman (Mike) of Jackson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
