It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paygene B Elliott of Jackson, Missouri, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryan Burns and Cecil Burns (Burns); her son Gary Don "Sam" Elliott; her grandsons, Larry Schuler and Eric Fields; her great grandchild Michala Overy; her siblings, Benny, George, Farris, Coy Burns and Joyce Bracken; and her former husbands, Wayne Vaughn and Donald Elliott.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Vaughn Teson (Mike) of Jackson, Sherry Elliott of Oregon, Jeffery Elliott of Arkansas and Tim Elliott (Becky) of St. Clair; her daughter-in-law Rachael Elliott (late Gary Don "Sam") of Oregon; and her sister Marylou Behnk of St. Louis. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home & Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Russell Heights Cemetery (435 S Farmington Rd, Jackson, MO 63755).
