He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon "Bud" Strack and Betty Morton Strack. He is survived by: his wife Velda Strack of Jackson; his daughter Jennifer Thieret (Erik) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Jeffery Williams and Julia Williams; his great grandchild Cooper Coleman; and his brother Terry Strack (Sharyn) of Jackson.

The family suggests that contributions be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or School or Veterans Home.
