He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lee and Mary Louise Oberndorfer Kasten; and his sister Cheryl Ann Kasten. He is survived by: his wife Donna Kasten of Jackson; and his sister Susan Rundel (Mark) of Crane, Missouri. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Zion Methodist Cemetery (3652 State Hwy Z, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701).
