He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Hurst and Helen Crader Hurst; his wife Florence May; and his siblings, Gary Hurst and Doris Hurst.
He is survived by: his daughter Sara Doyen (Bryan) of Jackson, MO; his brother Dennis Hurst (Barbara) of Jackson, MO.; and his grandchildren, Kase Doyen and Kye Doyen.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are appreciated to the Masonic Home of Missouri.
