He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Harold "Slim" and Gertrude Dunz Evans; his wife Joan Marie Thanel; his children, Maria Evans (Brian Suchman), Amos Evans (Kendra), Jerry Evans (Heather), Charlie Evans (Shelby) and Emma Evans (Tyler); his siblings, Gary Evans (Annie), Patricia Kaempfer (Larry) and Jo Frances Evans; and his pet Smokey. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
