It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melva Mirly (Jackson, Missouri), who passed away on December 16, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand Lange and Alma Loos Lange; her spouse Walter A. Mirly; and her siblings, Thekla Kuntze, Hilda Hauenschild, Elda Loenneke, Hulda James, Elfrieda Lange, Richard Lange, Thelma Lange and Ritor Lange.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Schaefer (Don) of Cape Girardeau, Carol Prenger (Lloyd) of Jefferson City, Michael Mirly (Cindy) of Jackson, Mary Ludwig (Charlie) of Jackson and Ricky Mirly (Jo Ann) of Jackson; and her siblings, Walter Lange and Adela Moore. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
