She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Monroe and Mary Louise Duvall Biri; her husband Leroy L. Johnston; her son Terry Lee Johnston; and her siblings, Hazel Haaseth, Leon Biri, Helen Greene, Louise Sago, Dorothy Johnston, Francis Biri, Jr. and Paul Biri.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Johnston (Diane) of Cape Girardeau and Philip Johnston (Paula) of Jackson; her grandchildren, Andrew, Dana and Deanna; her great grandchildren, Annabelle, Beck, Tatum, Bailie, Breanna and Makenzie Johnston; and her grandchild Corky.
Memorials in her memory may be given to Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary in Jackson or Crown Hospice.
