It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Kaye Kranawetter of Jackson, Missouri, born in East Prairie, Missouri, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry B. Russell and Lois Farrenburg Russell; her stepgrandson Sam; and her brother Dickey Russell. She is survived by: her husband Ervin Kranawetter of Jackson; her children, Russell Helms (Tami) of Jackson and Leslie Payne (Bill) of Choctaw, Oklahoma; her stepsons, Richard E. "Red" Kranawetter (Vera) of Patton and Douglas Kranawetter (Nikki) of Patton; her siblings, Janie Maxwell (Jerry) of East Prairie and Harry B. Russell (Diane) of East Prairie; and also, Roy Kranawetter of Jackson and Robert Kranawetter (Karen) of Jackson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
