She was predeceased by: her parents, William Evans and Nettie Johnston Evans; her son William Clifton; and her brothers, William "Bill" Evans Jr. and James Prather Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joan Hodges of Cape Girardeau and Linda DeFord of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She is also survived by six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
