He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas S. Cranor and Maymie Lee Haywood Cranor; and his son Stephen Cranor. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Cranor of Jackson; and his children, Randy Cranor of Kentucky, Stacey Cranor of Kentucky, Fredilu Toms-Coulter of Illinois, Anna Brieling of Illinois and Fred Hall-Freeman of Florida. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 .
