He was predeceased by: his father Jerome Francis; and his brothers, Jerry and Martin Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Dollie Hoffman of Jackson; his children, Amy Knight (Jamey) of Jackson, Amanda Rhyne (Charles) of Scott City, Joseph Hoffman, Jr. (Amy) of Wentzville and Priscilla Ledbetter (Gary) of Jackson; his grandchildren, Tyler, Drake, Kailey, Morgan, Emilie, Addison, Ava, Owen, Jaxson and Raelynn; and his siblings, Ken Hoffman (Karen) of Cape Girardeau, Bob Hoffman of Cape Girardeau, Jim Hoffman (Kim) of Cape Girardeau, Jane Lang (Hugo) of Paducah, Margie Reece (Don) of Olathe, Rebecca Essner (Richard) of Cape Girardeau and Cathy Fehr (Rich) of Cape Girardeau. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
