He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Joe Hillis; and his stepgrandson Joshua Thomas. He is survived by: his son John Scott Flynn of Atlanta, GA; his stepchildren, Hope Smith (Justin), Heather Thomas (Blake) of Cape Girardeau, Paul Ham of Carl Junction and Derek Ham (Lyndsey) of Benton, MO; his sister Billie Lee Hillis of Poplar Bluff, MO; his stepgrandchildren, Zachary, Gabriel, Taylor Haynes, Hannah, Wyatt Thomas, Meredith, Maddox, Lauren Ham, Diamond, Devon (Allie), Nathan Ham, Blake and Easton Mosby; and his stepgreat-grandchild Maisyn Ham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to Lacroix Church youth group, Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society.
