He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Hendrix and Ina Hendrix; and his brother Gary Hendrix. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hendrix of Jackson; his children, Rick Hendrix of Jackson, Rhonda Trout of Wentzville and Richard Hendrix of Cape Girardeau; his grandchildren, Crystal Parrish (Corey), Justin Trout (Sarah), Jennifer York, Heather Triller (Kyle) and Erica Hendrix; his great grandchildren, Ian, Reagan, Blake, Garrett, Jameson, Landon, Payton, Mila, Beckham and Adeline; and his sister Ethyl Kestner of O'Fallon.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Apostolic Promise Church (750 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memories and condolences be shared to honor John's memory.
