He is survived by: his wife Kathy Cavey of Jackson; and his children, John Hamilton Cavey Jr. (Ruth) of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Marjorie Kirkover (Craig) of Jackson, Sarah Cavey of Sherman Oaks, Kimberly Nicholas (Jeremy) of Cape Girardeau and Kaitlin Lawder (Jesse) of St. Louis, Missouri. He is also survived by several grandchildren and step grandchildren.
