He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Beggs and Ora Greenlee Beggs; his daughter Tammy Nelson; his son-in-law John Reed; and his siblings, Earl Dunning, Virginia Webb, David Beggs, Thelma Tucker, Barbara Tanner and Dorothy Sullivan.
He is survived by: his children, Theresa Ann Horst (Dennis) of Jackson, James Joseph Beggs (Tonya) of Marion and Brenda Kay Reed (Jim Foster) of Manhattan, Illinois; his grandchildren, Nicole Reisenbichler, Cyndi Burlingame, Paul Burlingame and Lucas Horst; and his great grandchildren, Joseph and Olivia.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home & Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
