She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Wilbur Brunk and Edna Elizabeth Brunk (Chandler); her husbands, Donald Charles McCurdy and Richard Harry Slater; her son Bruce McCurdy; her daughter-in-law Chris McCurdy (Hughes); her stepchildren, Dennis Slater, Kay Slater, Connie Stalhut (Goodrich), Sharon Champa (Goodrich) and Sam Goodrich; and her brothers, Pat Brunk, Gary Brunk, David Brunk and Steve Brunk.
She is survived by: her son Jonathan; her former husband Gerald Eugene Goodrich; her children, Dale McCurdy (Debbie) of House Springs, MO, Mark McCurdy (Linda) of Tucson, AZ, Pam McCurdy-Thompson (Hecker), Rick McCurdy of Desloge, MO, Grace Parry (Mike) of Fruitland, MO and Lynne McCurdy of Seville, Spain; her siblings, Tim Brunk (Diane), Jan (Brunk), Ed Toler and Jay Brunk (Jan); her sisters-in-law, Judy Brunk and Vicki Brunk; and her stepchildren, Barbara Pecoraro (Slater), Vicki Brunk (Slater), Marcia (Slater), Donna Premer (Goodrich), Alan Goodrich and Robert Goodrich (Pam). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
Gwen's wishes were to donate her body to science.
