It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary William Evans of Jackson, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Evans and Lillian Robinson Evans; and his siblings, Ed Evans and Penny Whittenburg. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Evans of Jackson; his children, Bill Evans (Angie) of Jackson, Mike Evans (Kelly) of Gordonville and Katie Hill (Tim) of High Ridge, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kaci Jo Evans of Jackson, Cody Evans of Altenburg and Myranda Hill of Cape Girardeau; and his great grandchild Summit Evans-Mitchell.
The family suggests that contributions be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
