With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Eugene Rees of Jackson, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Rees and Gracey Cossey Rees; his grandson Dustin Rees (Michelle); his son-in-law Stephen "Herbie" Glueck; and his siblings, Raymond Rees (Phyllis), Carroll Rees (Shelba) and Bob Rees.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Rees (Carol) of Jackson, Danny Rees (Colleen) and Penny Rees of Cape Girardeau; and his grandchildren, Chris Jauch (Wendy), Cara Raines (Brandon), Tyson Rees (Emily), Tyler Rees (Caitlin), Kyle Rees (Amanda), Erika Rice (Zach), Kelly Beasley-Dunlap, Amy Baker (Jerry Talley) and Aaron Glueck. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the McCombs Funeral Home & Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
