She was predeceased by: her parents, Lender Stovall and Thelma Greenlee Stovall; her husband Jim McLain; her son Ronnie D. Slinkard; and her siblings, Betty Ford, Jerry Stovall, Glen Stovall (Carol), Mary Smith (J. D.) and Kay Eakins.
She is survived by: her son Hank Baker of Jackson; her grandson Ronnie Slinkard (Sarah) of Jackson; her brother Earl G. "Gene" Stovall of Cape Girardeau; and her brother-in-law Carl Eakins (late Kay) of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
