David Johnson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Johnson of Jackson, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 16, 2024 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Johnson and Esther Dyer Johnson; his father-in-law Lloyd Oldenkamp; his brother Ron Johnson; and his nephew Jeff Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Val; his children, Sara Knabe (Scott), Katie Chapman (Lonnie), Paul Johnson (Emily) and Laura Boyle (Mike); his grandchildren, Grace Johnson, Wally, Lucy Boyle and Cal Knabe; his sister Jan Sorenson (Cliff); his sister-in-law Sharon Johnson; his mother-in-law Helen Oldenkamp; and his siblings-in-law, Duane (Anne), Don Oldenkamp (Debbie), Verla Niebuhr and Verjean Christopher (Pete). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church - Jackson (223 W Adams St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Russell Heights Cemetery (435 S Farmington Rd, Jackson, MO 63755).
