It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Steffens of Jackson, Missouri, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Steffens and Olga Fritsche Steffens; his son Benjamin K. Steffens; his sister Kathy Roth; and his grandsons, Austin and Beau Steffens.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Lorenz Tanner Steffens; his children, Nathan Steffens (Amy) of Benton, Susanna Wallace (Bill) of Evansville and Gregory Steffens of Murphysboro, Illinois; his stepchildren, Michael Tanner (Christina) of Jackson, Missouri and Teresa Tanner Masterson of Jackson, Missouri; his grandchildren, Heather Beyen, Ariel West (Matt), Madison, Andrea, Nathan Steffens, Sally Steffens, Hannah, Owens Steffens, Arieil, Hazel Steffens, Gavin, Quinn Steffens and Aidan Steffens; his stepgrandchildren, Mallorie Masterson (Brandon Ladson) and Kaitlyn Givens (Cody Jones); his great grandchildren, Avery, Blair Beyen and Beckett West; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ryker and Renlie Ladson; his brothers, Richard Steffens (Kathy) and Gary Steffens (Carol) of Jackson, Missouri; and his brother-in-law Dennis Roth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
