The memory of Bonnie C. Ehlers of Jackson, Missouri, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilda Meyer (Bartel) and Julius "Jul" Meyer; her husband Ray Ehlers; and her siblings, William "Bill" Meyer, Ruth Meyer and Doris LeClaire.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas of Cape Girardeau and Patricia Holley of Jackson; her sister Joyce Farrell (Ray) of Gerald, MO; her grandchildren, Matthew Ferrell (Ali) of Cape Girardeau and Jennifer Dye (Sam) of Jackson, MO; and her great grandchildren, Georgia, Monroe Ferrell, McKenna, Asher and Sutton Dye. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Cemetery (512 Main St, Gerald, MO 63037). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at 670 Broadridge Dr, Jackson, MO 63755.
Memorial Donations can be given to the Hospice Unit at Lutheran Home Assisted Living and Nursing Home in Cape Girardeau, MO or St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Gerald, MO.
