With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alva Lynn Gilliam of Jackson, Missouri, born in Ironton, Missouri, who passed away on January 15, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva L. Gilliam and Judith Franklin Gilliam; his brother Stephen Gilliam; his nephew John Edward Gilliam; and also, Don and Sharon Bishop McCullough.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Gilliam of Jackson; his children, Kevin Gilliam (Ronda) of Farmington, Rodney Gilliam of Ribera, Elizabeth Verhearst (Timothy) of Hillsboro, Ashley Conway of Jackson and Blake Gilliam (Heather) of Jackson; his brother Gary Gilliam (Debbie) of Potosi; his sister-in-law Alice Gilliam (late Stephen); his stepsons, Travis Wiggins of Jackson and Trent Wiggins of Fredericktown; and also Kim Jones (Richard) of Jackson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three nieces; an uncle; three aunts; several cousins.
