He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Alice; his daughter Sherrie Lynn Nelson; his parents, Ernest Nelson and Jennie Nelson (Larson); and his siblings, Ethel Andrus (Kenneth), Irene Doten (Ted), Dean Nelson (Shirley) and Paul Nelson (Ethel).
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Renee West (James), Jeffery Mark Nelson (Janelle), Steven Blake Nelson and Karen Sue Dujardin (Mike); his grandchildren, Karissa, Jessica, Kristianna, Justin West, Jonathan Nelson (Brittney), Joelle Van Otterloo (Daniel), Jenni Nelson and Josh Nelson; his great grandchildren, Jedidiah, Ruth and Azariah Nelson; and his grandchildren, Hudson, Hope, Lucas and Lucille Van Otterloo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mammoth Assembly of God Church. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
