We are sad to announce that on May 4, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Sherman Levy Reed of Ironton, Missouri, born in Madison, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Burns Reed and Virgie Caroline Reed (West); his daughter Julie Ann "Cricket" Guess; his brothers, Ellis Reed and Junior Reed; and his half-siblings, Vernon Reed, Elzie "Bud" Reed, Irene Kiger and Lucille Graham.

He is survived by: his wife Alma Marie (Allen); his children, Tony Reed (Diane) of Ironton, Mike Reed (Connie) of Ironton, Michelle Tyndall (Mike) of Middlebrook, Ricky Lee Reed of Arcadia and Janie Sisk (Jay) of Arkansas; his stepchildren, Thomas Spangler (Mary Renna) of Ironton and Sandra Craig of Ironton, Missouri.; and his sisters, Louise Mieser of Warrensburg, Roberta Browers of Ironton, Evelyn Nash of Belleview, Patricia Mills of Kansas, Anise Browers of Ironton, Edith Swinford of Belleview and Karen Hunter of Rolla, Missouri.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Polk Cemetery Association.
