He is survived by: his wife Janet Brooks (Barton); his children, Kimberly Phillips (Tony) of Wright City, MO, Kristina Reed (Roger) of Ironton, MO and Lonnie Brooks II of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Gabriel Reed, Anthony Phillips, Morgan Nelson (Garen) and Evan Phillips; his great grandchild Nora Phillips; his brothers, Jerry Brooks (Teresa) of Farmington, MO and Larry Brooks (Karen) of Belleview, MO; his sisters-in-law, Dianne Strange of Ironton, MO, Donna Causey (Gary), Cathy Brooks of Ironton, MO and Anita Dement (James) of Boss, MO; his brother James Brooks; and his brothers-in-law, Ted Strange and Herman Brooks. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family have asked that memorial be made to the Signer Senior Center.
