She is survived by: her spouse James Cowins; her father Larry Jones; her stepmother Pat Jones of Arcadia, MO; her granddaughter Mercedes Kessler of St. Louis, MO; her siblings, Monty Jones of North Carolina, Larry Jones Jr. and Kathy Jones of Ironton; and her grandmother Evelyn Trigg of Alton, IL.
In lieu of flowers, Kym asked that memorials be made to the Cancer Society.
