She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar Wren and Lula Mae Wren (Ivester); her husband Orville Griffey Sr.; her daughters, Rita Lynn James and Clara James; and her brother Stanley E. Wren.
She is survived by: her children, Melody Gardner (Gene) of Lesterville, Vivian Meyer of Elkhart, Nancy Lewis of Ironton, Kathy Thompson (Bart) of Bellingham, Audra McKee of Ironton, Albert James (Leslie) of Des Arc and Alicia Huff (Leon) of Ironton, Missouri.; and her siblings, Rosalie Knehans (John) of Jackson, Janice Barton (Wayne) of Ironton and Thurman Wren (Mary) of Ironton. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
