Barbara Laux McCoy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Laux McCoy of Ironton, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on July 18, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon "Bud" and Jeanne Streckfus Meesey; her husband John McCoy; and her brother-in-law Larry Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Becky Brockett (Aaron Vencenz), Amanda Brockett (Hunter Buchmeyer) and Logan Brockett (Jessika Fowler); her stepdaughters, Amy Spurger (Mike) and Melissa; her siblings, Pete Meesey (Peggy), Joe Meesey (Joan), John Meesey (Gerri), Paul Meesey (Carla), Mike Meesey (Kyle), Christopher Meesey (Nancy), Mary Patterson (Mike) of Wentzville, MO, Jeanne Erker (Bill) of Fenton, MO, Nancy (Terry), Susie (Jim), Patti (Larry) and Ellen Harris (Frank) of Ironton, MO.; and her grandchildren, Avery, Zachery, Sarah, Kate, Abbey, Owen, Isaac, Nicholas and Josephine. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
