She was predeceased by: her father Chester Homer; her husband Charles Lee Bockenkamp, Sr.; and her grandson Wade Franklin. She is survived by: her children, Avonne Williams (Howard Sr.), Charles "Chuck" Bockenkamp, Jr. (Susie), Chester "Bill" Bockenkamp, Sr. (Cheryl), Denise Caldwell (Dwight Thomas), David Bockenkamp, Sr. (Sonya), Bonnie Whaley (George Jr.), Linda Bockenkamp and Janet Franklin (Richard); and her sisters, Ruby Montoya and Annie Davis (Chimer "Kim"). She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren.
